About Francis

As a translational genomics scientist, Dr. Francis Amrit Gandhi has worked extensively on high-throughput genetic and molecular biological strategies and has a background in multi-omic biomarker discovery. He serves as Signature’s Director of Research and Development, driving transformational initiatives to accomplish Signature’s goals for science, research, and product/service development.

Francis has made decisive contributions towards numerous NIH-funded grants and obtained several University-funded research grants as a PI, the most recent of which was aimed at identifying the Molecular Sensors or Biomarkers of Pathogenic Stress. His work has resulted in several publications in reputable journals such as PLoS Genetics, eLife, and Nature Communications. Drawing from his experience, Francis will help establish the next generation of NIPS platforms and lead discovery and diagnostics driven by cell-free RNA analytics.
